Keeping Citizens Safe and Informed

As Sheriff of Red River Parish, I will make safety and security a top priority for the citizens of Red River Parish.  If there is crime in your community, we will target specific criminal activity in that community.  We will also put safeguards in place to help prevent that criminal activity from happening again.  The citizens of Red River Parish WILL be informed on situations and activities that are important to the safety of you and your family.


Community Partnership

As Sheriff of Red River Parish, I will make partnering with the community a top priority for the citizens of Red River Parish and the Sheriff's Department itself.  Collaborative partnerships between the Red River Sheriff's Department and the citizens of Red River Parish can serve to the development of solutions to problems and increase trust in our deputies.  Community involvement recognizes that law enforcement rarely can solve problems alone.  The citizens of Red River Parish have an interest in the community and are a valuable resource for idenifying community concerns.  I want to encourage EVERY citizen to play a role in prioritizing and addressing public safety problems.

Accountability

As Sheriff of Red River Parish, I will make accountability of the Sheriff's Department a top priority for the citizens of Red River Parish and Red River Sheriff's Department.  The Sheriff's Department needs to be held accountable to the people of the parish.  Our job is to protect you, your family, and your rights.


Impartial Policing

As Sheriff of Red River Parish, I will make impartial policing a top priority for the citizens of Red River Parish and the Sheriff's Department.  I want to take the Sheriff's Department to a different level of policing.  We will not go after communities, but we will go after all crimes, no matter who commits the crime.  We will police impartially and make sure citizens are safe and their rights as citizens of Red River Parish are protected. 


Organizational Transparancy

As Sheriff of Red River Parish, we will make organizational transparency a top priority for the department and for the citizens of Red River Parish.  We will be transparent with the operations of the department, so we can show the citizens we are upholding and protecting the constitutional rights.  The job for us, as a department, is to stand between criminal activity and the people it victimizes.  We will be the intermediary and stand up to protect our citizens.  That is why organizational transparency is important for the department and the community.


Higher Standard Quality of Service

As Sheriff of Red River Parish, I will hold myself and my department to a higher standard quality of service.  Leading by a higher standard means making and holding true to a commitment to your best effort.  Even if you know you will not be able to attain perfection, that should never be the excuse for not committing to get as close as you can.  If the citizens of Red River Parish vote me into this position, they will be treated with the highest quality of service we can give from myself, my office staff, detectives, and my deputies.  We have sworn to protect and serve the citizens of Red River Parish and that is what we will do!
